(Anderson, NR) Medium. 14" tall x 28" wide.  A deep gold-centred sport of H. American Sweetheart. Much better colour than the parent, but will fade to cream by the end of the season.

‘Ghost Spirit’

(Isaacs 99) Medium-sized, Irregularly misted and streaked sport of H. 'Valentine Lace'; misted centre changes to all-green by mid-summer/Blue-green margin.  Does best in the shade.  Lavender flowers.
A very different hosta!

‘Ginsu Knife’

(R. Solberg, 02) This is a unique hosta with wide, irregularly cream coloured margins with serrate margins and white fragrant flowers; the arching leaves have large undulations and some twisting.     A mature clump is outstanding!

(Ron Livingston, NR) Small.  This hybrid from H. 'Raspberry Sorbet' is a small graceful plant that is fast growing and has thick, smooth, bright shiny undulating leaves that turn a brilliant yellow in the sun.

 


Buds and bracts match the leaves in color; the base of the buds and the
length of the scapes are vibrant red and create a stunning contrast. After sporting
lavender flowers the seed pods end up purplish-red also.

‘Glory Hallelujah’

 

(Hans Hansen, 2007) This is a reverse variegated sport of the classic 'Paul's Glory'. Broadly heart-shaped leaves are dark blue-green and are margined with a yellow edge. Pale lavender flowers.  Good grower.

(Gowen, 91) Medium-sized, 14” high x 18” wide.  This is a stunning upright hosta - beautiful clump of thick gold leaves that are deeply cupped.  Lavender flowers midsummer.

‘Grand Tiara’

(Pollock 1991)  A mutation of H. 'Golden Tiara' with a gold margin that is 2-3 times wider. Broadly ovate, chartreuse leaves with darker green centres. Leaves are of better than average substance, have a smooth, thick substance, and are slightly wavy.  Bell-shaped, purple striped flowers are borne on 30" scapes in midsummer, followed by many seed pods

‘Great Arrival’

 

(Q & Z. 03)  Medium-sized. 26” high.  This is a reverse sport of H. 'Great Expectations' with gold margins and green centres.   The margin is bright gold in spring , turning creamy white by mid-summer.  Thick substance leaves are heavily corrugated and broadly ovate.

‘Great Expectations’

(J Bond/Aden ‘83)  Medium-large.  Absolutely gorgeous plant. Chartreuse centre turns creamy white.  Dark green margin with bluish cast and streaks to centre. White flowers in July.  A real prize when mature, requires good light and grows slowly.  Sport of sieboldiana 'Elegans', one of the most beautiful of all hostas.  Recipient of many awards!

‘Gretchen's Grace’

(Sisson)  Medium-sized.   H. ‘Gretchen's Grace’ is a seedling out of H. ‘Cinnamon Sticks’  x H. ‘Gilt by Association’ with elongated, arching, blue-green leaves that form a beautiful graceful mound.
Kathy Sisson is a new hybridizer and is producing some great work!  We will be carrying more of her plants in the future.

‘Gypsy Rose’

(Jim Anderson, NR) A sport of H. Striptease which is very similar in all respects. H. Gypsy Rose has a creamy gold centre with a distinctive white band around the centre.  H. ‘Gypsy Rose’ makes a somewhat smaller plant than Striptease.
