(Naylor Creek Nursery) Medium-sized. This is a sport of H. ‘Lakeside Cupcake’, the difference being that ‘Half and Half’ emerges with a pure white centre that remains throughout the season. Thick leaves have a very dark green border and show a third light green color where there is overlap. The clump is low growing and many of the leaves twist at the end of the petioles creating a more disorganized look. Lavender flowers on a vigorous grower |

‘Her Eyes Were Blue’

(Dean) Small-Medium sized. 12” high. This hosta is named for the mother of the past AHS President Mary Schwartzbauer. Leaves are intensely silver-blue bordering on a steely-gray colour and are heavily rippled and lightly serrated. Leaf tip twists and curves downward. Good substance. Lavender flowers.

(Hansen/Shady Oaks) Medium-sized. 16" high x 36" wide. White centreed sport of H. 'June'. Emerges in spring with a narrow, yellow centre which widens and brightens to white by midsummer. Wide, blue margins. Pale lavender flowers open just above the mound of foliage in late summer. Small and slow growing, but a fantastic specimen. Very classy hosta! Slug resistant and sun tolerant. |
