(Meyer)  Medium-sized.  Sport of H. ‘Antioch’.   Dark green leaves, wide creamy border that turns white over time.  Best located in bright morning light.  Does not like the hot intense afternoon sun.   Lavender flowers.

‘Ice Prancer’


(R. Sawyer, NR) Medium to Large-sized.   This seedling of Hosta 'Reptillian' features very think wedge-shaped frosty blue leaves with beautiful ripples along the margin and an exaggerated leaf tip. With its slug resistant foliage, architectural beauty and grace it is a welcome addition to even the most discerning hosta collector. Light lavender flowers top the clump in midsummer.

‘Illicit Affair’

(Jim Anderson, 03) Mini-size - A delightful sport of the mini H. Cheatin Heart comes up in the spring with bright gold leaves looking just like Cheatin Heart, but then develops a green centre. By mid season the centre is dark green. Second flush is again initially gold contrasting well with the older leaves.  
She’s a cutie!

'Inspire Greatness'

(Silvers, 2006)  Medium.  18" high x 32" wide.   The stable form of Brave Attempt, true blue leaves with a nice white margin, this is the nicest blue color I have seen in the garden, really gives a good spring show.   Pale lavender flowers on 28 inch scapes.

'Irish Luck’


(Irene LaLonde, 2007) Medium-sized.   This impressive, upright, hosta has very dark and shiny green leaves (top and bottom) with deeply impressed veins and rippled edges. The tubular and slightly fragrant pale lavender flowers bloom mid to late summer.   Outstanding leaf substance!

‘Iris Frazier’

 

(Solberg 06) Large-sized. 20” high x 36” wide.   This sport of ‘Five O’clock Somewhere’ is an upright tetraploid with narrow, rich, medium green margin with a bright yellow quilted centre. The leaves have heavy substance and are asymmetric, like most tetraploids. Lavender flowers in late June.

(Rasmussen 97) Small-sized hosta, 8” high x 12” wide, distinctive hosta with creamy yellow centred leaves.   Charming little hosta!   It is much admired in our garden.

'Itsy Bitsy Spider'

Johnson (2004) Mini 2" tall x 7" wide. This tiny hosta features narrow dark green leaves that tend to wave.   These leaves measure about 2 1/4" long by 1/2" wide.  This is a seedling from 'Hadspen Heron'.  Pale lavender flowers mid season.

‘Ivory Coast’

 

(Savory)  Medium-sized.   This is a smaller sport of H. ‘Sagae’ with grey-green leaves that have a wide rippled yellow border in spring that later turns to ivory. Great substance and topped with lavender flowers.
