(Savory 85) Large-sized, 20" high x 48" wide, near white flowers. Leaves blue-green with wide gold margin. Heavily corrugated and slightly cupped, thick substance.

(Heims, NR) Long cascading leaves are shiny green and ruffled, giving this hosta a waterfall effect.   We have this hosta placed in a rockery and have many comments on this beauty.

'Jane Ward'

(Dick & Jane Ward 1999)  Medium.  Pin Stripe Sister hybrid.  A stunning, plant with long, pointed white centered leaves surrounded by lightly rippled dark green margins. Pale lavender flowers in July.

‘Jaws’

(Scheer)  Small-sized.  Deep green intensely serrated and undulating leaves. A fast growing, dense clump.  For the darkest green, it appreciates a bit of shade. This is one tough plant.

(Greg Johnson 04)  Small-sized. 12" high x 30" wide with 7" long by 6" wide.  Shiny, chartreuse to gold foliage is smooth, shiny, and produces the illusion of yellow plastic gold foliage.

(Walek) Large-sized, 18” high x 30” wide, this sport of H. ‘Dee’s golden Jewel’ grows as a large mound of heart shaped, blue-green leaves with very irregular gold margins.

(Matthews/Sligh 98) Medium-sized.   This hosta is from New Zealand with wide blue-green margins and a very distinctive centre that starts out yellow and goes through a series of changes until it becomes white with green veins.  A  H. sieboldiana hybrid.

(Asch)  Large-sized.  This great gold plant will bring any garden to life…large mounded clump of heavily corrugated golden yellow leaves have somewhat wavy margins and cup downward. Near-white flowers appear in midsummer.

‘Journeys End’

(Hans Hansen 04) Large-sized.  Sport of H. 'Choo Choo Train'. The huge pointed and heavily ruffled leaves are bright gold, surrounded by a wide dark green border and topped in summer with 3' spikes of pale lavender flowers. Multiple award winner at two American Hosta Society National Conventions!

‘June’

(Neo Plants 91) Medium 15" high by 24" wide with violet flowers. Leaves are yellow with an irregular blue margin overlapping the centre, resulting in blue and celadon streaking. A beautiful hosta that stands out as soon as you see it. Morning sun is recommended for best colour. Slug resistant.

(Jan van den Top, 2004)  Medium-sized.  Gold yellow, dark green margin, slightly shiny ovate flat leaves with nearly flat margin, moderate growth rate, light lavender tubular blooms, blooms mid to late summer, partial to full shade.

'Justine'


NEW

(Van den Top) Medium.  This is a tetraploid of H. 'June Fever' with all the same wonderful traits as the parent but its even better! Nice thick, shiny yellow leaves have a wide green border and make a medium-sized clump. Locate in a sunny spot and the leaves will stay yellow or plant in the shade and they will change to a green center. Lavender flowers.


This one has been growing in the shade.  Really nice!
