This large, upright vase-shaped, hosta with a blue-grey leaf and a very wide creamy border is by far the finest and most dramatic variegated hosta ever introduced! The pale lavender flowers on 4’ scapes in July. |

'Saketini' |
(Zilis, 2009) Small. 9" high x 20" wide. Pale yellowish green. A bit oddly coloured hybrid of a gold sport of ‘Blue Dimples’ X ‘Shining Tot’ Also features closed pale purple flowers in late summer; good specimen for the front of the shaded garden.

'Smiley Face' |
(Solberg 2011) It has the cutest round leaves that are full of personality and a unique rich yellow color. It has pink petioles and surprisingly heavy substance. It makes a small tight mound perfect in a pot or a special place in the garden. Pink scapes and rich purple flowers with reddish tubes appear in July. Fertile both ways.

'Smoke Signals' |
(B&D Stegeman) Medium. This fantastic clump holds it's intensely blue-green leaves in an upright form. It has somewhat folded, flat leaves and is very dense. H. 'Smoke Signals' maintains its color late into the season. Lavender flowers. |

(A. Torvinen 2005) Medium. Light-green narrow centered, medium green margined with the tease. One of the best 'Striptease' sports, it has a much wider white line, adding a lot of appeal to this sport. Colours are more intense that parent. ‘Sparkle’

(Tanaka/Zilis - 2009) Small-Medium sized. 10” high x 28” wide. Sensational Japanese cultivar from Mr. Katsuyoshi Tanaka out of Hosta longipes; striking specimen plant in the garden. Purple flowers open on 23” scapes from late August through September. Leaves are streaked and are about 8” long by 5” wide; green and white-streaked leaf color with rich, maroon red petioles. Slow growth on this one. |

‘Sparkler’
|
This new sport of Hosta 'Fireworks' PP16062 makes a showy specimen in troughs or other small containers. It forms a small mound of slender leaves with very narrow, creamy white to white centers and dark green margins that jet into the center. The showy variegation offers terrific contrast. The leaves of this small hosta are of heavy substance, increasing their slug resistance.
Light lavender flowers are produced in mid to late summer.

'Surfer Girl'
|
(Chick Wasitis/Bridgewood Gardens 2000) Small. The lanceolate leaves are sharply pointed and deeply rippled, dark green with a satiny sheen, about 2 to 2½ inches long and 1 to 1¼ inchs wide. The wavy edges of the leaves are very pronounced and attractive. The plant is stoloniferous and increases rapidly to form a mound about 12 to 15 inches wide. The tubular flowers are pale lavender with purple stripes inside, borne on rather tall (18-24") scapes. |
