‘Valley’s Chute-the-Chute'

(Jeroen Linneman 2008) Small.   7 - 10" tall.   Seedling from 'Kifukurin Ubatake'.  Lance-shaped wavy bright golden leaves of good substance, turns light green later in the season unless in full sun.  This hosta has a very unique growing habit in that it lays almost flat to the ground!  Likes morning sun and has lavender flowers.

(Gino Vandekinderen, NR)  Medium.   Sport of H. 'Whirlwind'.   Thick green leaves have a narrow yellow centre that turns greenish in the shade.   For best colouring plant in a sunny location.  Morning sun.  Fast growing and very eye catching.

‘Victory’

(Zillis/Solberg, 2002) Large-Ex-Large-sized.  30” high x 70” wide.   This splendid sport of Hosta nigrescens 'Elatior' features broad green leaves edged with a nice white margin. The upright spreading habit and growth size lends itself for use as a specimen. Extraordinary variegated hosta.  Pale lavender flowers on arching scapes. VERY impressive hosta.

‘Viking Ship’

(Wiegand)  Extra-Large sized.  Huge oval to nearly round blue-green leaves stand upright on this giant hosta. Leaves have glaucous bloom top and bottom, are lightly corrugated and deeply veined.  Margins have light ruffling and show some cupping.  An open pollinated seedling from H. ‘Komodo Dragon’.

‘Vulcan’

(H. Hansen/Shady Oaks Nursery, 2007) Medium-Large sized. This sport of 'Captain Kirk' has creamy-white leaves with dark green margins. Golden-yellow streaks occur along the interior margins where the white and green overlap. 'Vulcan' has a vigorous growth rate for a white-centred hosta. Pale lavender flowers.
